Lot 6d: AZI-04 Azim – The Seriema
This constellation observed by the Tembé people represents a prevalent animal of the Brazilian fauna. The Seriemas are the only surviving members of the Cariamiformes, an order of flightless birds that have been around for 60 million years. If you have been to Daterra, you probably saw some of them walking around. The Seriema is close to the Rhea in the sky and is made not only of stars but also and dark spots in a milky way.
